Wellness & Vaccinations

Veterinary care isn’t just for when your pet is sick. To the contrary, the foundation of quality health care is in preventing illness from occurring in the first place. Our animal companions are only with us for a precious amount of time, so it’s extremely important that we do everything within our power to extend that time, and to make their years with us as happy and healthy as possible. The most effective way to achieve this goal is through routine wellness care. At Cornell Center Animal Hospital, we place a strong emphasis on wellness and preventative care because we want to see your pet live a long, happy and healthy life. Our services include comprehensive physical exams, customized vaccination plans, parasite control, nutrition and much, much more. Don’t wait until your pet is sick to bring them in for care. Give them the gift of a lifetime of good health by making a commitment to wellness care.

Diagnostics

When you are sick or have been injured, you simply visit your doctor, explain the problem, and receive the appropriate treatment. Unfortunately, since our animal companions cannot speak, it’s not as easy to identify and diagnose a problem – especially if it’s something that cannot be seen on the surface of the skin. When an external exam just isn’t enough, CCAH turns to a broad range of veterinary diagnostic tools to help us manage the ongoing health of our patients. From routine laboratory testing, like blood work and urinalysis, to more advanced techniques, such as digital x-ray and ultrasound imaging, we’re prepared to quickly and accurately diagnose whatever may be ailing your pet so we can develop the right treatment plan to get them back on the path to good health again.

Dentistry

Dental health is one of the most overlooked components of pet care, yet it’s one of the most important factors in keeping your companion happy and healthy. An unhealthy mouth can lead to everything from bad breath to tooth loss and eventually it can even cause dental disease, a serious medical condition that can wreak havoc on your pet’s entire body. The good news is this is easily preventable through routine dental care – both at the vet and at home. The dental team at Cornell Center Animal Hospital is experienced in performing a wide range of professional pet dentistry services, including preventative care like exams and cleanings, as well as the treatment of existing oral health problems. Let us help your pet beat the odds and enjoy a healthy mouth for life!
