Urgent Care

If your pet has an urgent medical issue, it is important to seek immediate veterinary care. We encourage you to contact your primary care veterinarian first, however, we are here for you and your pet when their services are not immediately available.

The Cornell Center urgent care team is highly qualified and ready to provide immediate medical care. We treat most cases right here in our urgent care center. If your pet requires more intensive treatment, overnight hospitalization, or specialty care, our team will facilitate the transfer of your pet’s continual care to one of our local emergency and specialty hospitals.

If you believe your pet is experiencing a life-threatening medical emergency, please take your pet directly to a 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital.

Conditions treated include:

  • Bites and wounds
  • Breathing difficulties
  • Coughing and sneezing
  • Ear and eye infections
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Diarrhea and vomiting
  • Pain, weakness, and lameness
  • Itchy skin
  • Muscle tremors or seizures
  • Toxins and poisoning
